How the website and Prepper Pantry handle information

Website
The site displays stories, books and products. It does not currently add advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser and the hosting service may still process information needed to deliver pages and keep the site running. Links to Facebook, Amazon, Beacons and other services open those services under their own practices. Product links marked Affiliate Link may earn us a commission.
Prepper Pantry In Your Browser
Your inventory, preferences, grocery list and private Trading Post drafts are saved in this browser. You can use those features without creating an account. Clearing this browser’s site data may remove them, so export a backup if you want a copy.
If you choose to create an account, the account service processes your email and sign-in. Saving a cloud backup is optional and stores your pantry data with that account. Restoring a backup replaces the browser’s current pantry after you confirm. Published Trading Post information, including the details and contact method you choose to share, can be seen by signed-in members. You can remove your account and its cloud data from Account Controls in the app.
Optional Lookups
Product lookup sends a barcode to Open Food Facts. Farm search sends the location you enter to map services. WhatsApp contact opens WhatsApp for you to review and send a message there. Camera scanning is available in the Android app; the browser version lets you enter a barcode.
